# Unsupported redirect\_uri parameter in the logout resource

Hello,

I would like to know if anyone has an idea why the **redirect\_uri** field (URL parameter) is now deprecated as is show in the source code here : [keycloak/LogoutEndpoint.java at 15.0.2 · keycloak/keycloak · GitHub](https://github.com/keycloak/keycloak/blob/15.0.2/services/src/main/java/org/keycloak/protocol/oidc/endpoints/LogoutEndpoint.java#L130)

In the code it indicates that this field should be replaced by **postLogoutRedirectUri**. Moreover the method parameter is set as deprecated.
